I would say that the questions mentioned in the passage cited in the question were more rhetorical than inquisitive in nature. That is, the evil spiritual beings who indwelt the possessed man knew who Jesus was, and also knew that He had the power and authority to cast them out, and they wanted Him to leave them alone. This was the point of asking, "Have You come to cast us out?" and "What have You to do with us?" The Living Bible perhaps captures the sense of these words more closely by turning them into statements rather than questions, and paraphrasing them as, "Go away! We want nothing to do with you, Jesus of Nazareth! You have come to destroy us. I know who you are -- the holy Son of God!"
