In the book of Hebrews chapter 1, the author states that God spoke to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, and at the end of these days had spoken to us by his Son, Jesus Christ who is the radiance of his glory and through whom he made the worlds. Jesus Christ is the very image of his substance. And in verse 5, it says; For to which of the angels did he say at any time, "You are my Son, Today have I become your Father?" And in verse 6; When he again brings in the firstborn into the world he says, "Let all the angels of God worship him."

Jesus Christ was the only begotten Son of God (John 3:16). And he is the Father's firstborn. But what does that mean that he is the firstborn?
Col 1:18 states, "And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence."

Rev 1:5, "And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood."

Jesus Christ is also the firstborn of every creature (Col 1:15). And in Rom 8:29, it says, "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren."
When Jesus Christ returns in his glory as in Rev 19 and in 1 Thes 4:16-17, many dead people who were considered saints will come to life and will meet him upon the clouds and many people still living then will be caught up together with them to meet Jesus before he returns to establish his kingdom here on earth. This is the first resurrection. This resurrection from the dead is what being born again means. Jesus Christ being the firstborn or the firstfruits and afterwards true christians at his coming (1 Cor 15:23).

Though Jesus Christ was the firstborn of the Father, it does not mean that he has a beginning. He became the Father's only begotten Son only during the time he manifested himself in the flesh or when he divested himself as God and took the form of a man that he might experience death to save us from sin. Jesus Christ was the God of the Old Testament so he cannot be an angel. Angels are created beings.

Who is the Holy One in scripture?
1. Isaiah 43:3, "For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Savior.."
2. Acts 3:14, "But you denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted to you."
3. Mark 1:24, "...Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? Art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God."

Who is the first and the last?
1. Isaiah 48:12, "Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last."
2. Rev 22:13, I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last." Verse 16, "I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and offspring of David, and the bright and morning star."
3. Isaiah 44:6, "Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God."
4. Rev1:11, "...I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last."

Who is the Almighty?
1. Rev 1:8, " I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, who is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."
2. Gen 17:1, "And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect."

Nowhere in scriptures that it says Jesus was an angel. Jesus Christ was truly God who became man 2000 years ago but returned to heaven as God Almighty who is now at the right hand of Power - God our Father.
And he is coming again!

He which testifieth these things saith, "Surely I come quickly." Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus (Rev 22:20).
All verses are of the King James Version.

Jesus Christ was never an angel. He is the eternal Son of God. He has always existed as the Second Person of the Triune God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit).

Angels have not always existed. They are beings that God created, and that are subordinate to Him. By nature, they are spiritual beings, although they can appear to humans, and also assume human form. Satan himself was once an angel, but he rebelled against God (with one-third of the angels joining him in that rebellion), and they were all cast out of heaven. The angels who had not rebelled (also called "the elect angels") were then sealed in their condition, making further rebellion among them impossible.

Various passages in the Old Testament mention the appearance or activity of a particular Being referred to as "the angel of the LORD" (rather than just as "an angel"). Because this Being speaks as God, identifies Himself with God, and exercises the responsibilities of God, He is regarded by Bible scholars as being either God the Father in visible form (theophany), or God the Son in pre-incarnate form (Christophany). However, this does not mean that Christ was ever an angel, or any other type of created being. He has always existed as full, eternal God. "The Angel of the LORD" was just the special designation by which the writers of the Old Testament referred to this Being. Also, appearances of "the angel of the LORD" ceased after Christ's incarnation, which provides further support for this view.
