My opinion is that they have traded the freedom and liberties of our Lord for the yoke of bondage to a bizarre controlling organization.
Following false doctrines and percepts blindly that are proclaimed by their watch tower society oracles from the holy city of Brooklyn.
A very causal look at their prophetic and organizational history would cause one to question anything, put fore by them as truth!
You have noticed the error cracks within their system, that the society quickly plasters over as they appear via the new light teachings of Proverbs 4:18.

The most urgent reason is that they do not believe in blood transfusions and they feel that it is as the old testament prohibition. First, this is wrong because there are no laws to observe , our lord nailed them to his cross. Second the reason that these rules were given was so that the Jews would not be insulted, as they were babes in Christ and they were still trying to impose the old testament laws To placate the Jews The Apostles thought it good if the gentiles limited their freedom I Christ and abstain willingly from drinking blood. Now following this wrong law they are killing themselves and their children .

If , according to the red cross 10% of the world population requires a blood trans. to live. then apply the approx. 10% to the approx. 8 mil J.Witnesses world wide which would be 800,000 J.W.s who might refuse blood transfusions for a false doctrine each year, and then divide that by 365 days. Jim Jones has nothing on them. But since they are not in one place, they are all over the world nobody cares.

My sister is a Jehova's Witness. I have tried to reach her concerning the way of salvation, but she will not read anything I send her, and withdraws completely from any discussion. Even at our father's funeral service, she would not pray with the rest of the family, and even withdrew when we asked God's blessing on a meal. What an awful cult it is.

We not become a Christian by calling ourselves one.
We become Christian by believing that Jesus is God in the flesh and He is the only savior. That there is not other way to be saved than believing His gospel truth. What is that truth?
The gospel. First Corinthians 15:1:4 That Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures, that He was buried and rose again on the third day, according to the scriptures.
When we believe that gospel we are saved and given eternal life. John 3:16, John 3:18. We can no longer be condemned. Those who do not believe the gospel are condemned already, because they have not believed on the name of the Son of God.
What does the bible mean in Acts when it says to repent? It means to change your mind from what ever you were trusting in, your works, to trusting in Jesus as the only way of salvation by grace. Romans 11:6.
When we do that we are saved in an instant and given the Holy Spirit who is our seal by God forever. Ephesians 1:13. In whom ye also trusted, after ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, ye were sealed by that Holy Spirit of promise. Ephesians 1:14 Who is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchase possession, unto the praise of His glory.
We have been bought and paid for. Now you are going to heaven because Jesus said so. Not because you quit sinning and became a good person, but because Jesus paid your sin debt in full, and since you have no sins to pay for, you can not go to hell.
Salvation is a free gift from God and that is the only way we can accept it. We can not earn it, or buy it, or do anything for it. Just believe it is true. We repent, change our mind, and believe the gospel.
Galatians 1:7-9 Though we or an angel from heaven preach any other
gospel than that we have preached unto you, let them be accursed. As we said before, so say I again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let them be accursed.
We can not be saved by what we do or do not do, we can only be saved by Jesus blood sacrifice for all sin forever.
First John 2:2 And He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but for the sins of the whole world.
We are not saved by not sinning, we are saved because all our sins are paid for.
We are saved because we have been born of the Spirit of God and that can never be changed. Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit in whom ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me, will come to me, and ALL that come to me I will in no wise cast out. If he will not cast us out, who can?
John 6:39 Jesus has never lost one. How does He know His sheep? We have His Spirit in us. Second Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless, the foundation of God is true, having this seal, (the Holy Spirit) the Lord knoweth them that are His.
We are not saved by keeping Gods laws or doing good works. We are saved by the blood of Jesus plus nothing.
Nothing can separate you from the Love of God. Hebrews 13:5 He will never leave you or forsake you not matter what.
Beware of false teachers who come to you in sheep's clothing preaching another gospel or another Jesus. There is only one. Matthew 7:15-23.
Those that add works to grace are not saved. Romans 11:6, and Romans 4:5. We can only do good works because we are saved for rewards in heaven, never for salvation which is a free gift From God.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, and we all sin, but the GIFT of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ.
