Why was Michal so incensed over David’s dancing? (2 Samuel 6:20)
20 Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel to day, who uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself!

Was it just because he disrobed for this grand occasion? (2 Samuel 6:14)

14 And David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.

2 Samuel 6:8

ESV - 8 And David was angry because the Lord had burst forth against Uzzah. And that place is called Perez-uzzah, to this day.

Was Michal biologically barren or was it that David refused to impregnate her? Verse 22 of 2 Samuel 6 states, "And Michal the daughter of Saul had no child to the day of her death."

David told her that he would be abased in her eyes, but the other women would hold him in honor. I think he was speaking prophetically and also factually. I think he made a decision that day that he wasn't giving her any children. And there was nothing she could do about it.!

She despised David's worship when the Ark was brought back to Jerusalem. That was a grievous mistake! He who has ears to hear, let him hear.
