The balm of Geliad can also be another name for our Lord. Since he can be relied upon by faith to answer our prayers for the healing of our bodies, soul and spirit for those truly in Christ. Ps.(Your soul is your mind, will and emotions.)

If you are truly in Christ, you have ceased from practicing a life of habitual sin. If you take up a life of sin, you can put it off again at any time if you are in Christ. Where sin abounds grace much more abounds. Romans 5:20

Because you have received Jesus, the power of His anionting can and will deliver you if you are determined to do so. But if you would rather enjoy the pleasures of sin. Your sin excludes you from the promise if their is no repentance. But He is faithful to deliver us from all unrighteousness if we confess our sins, he is faithful to forgive us but we must forsake sin that is how and why Jesus is referred to as being the Balm of Giliad.1 John 1:9 [confessing sins)

Isiah 53:1-12 (says it all)
Jesus was wounded for our transgression he was bruised for our iniquities and the chastisment of peace was upon him and by His stripes we were healed.

Believe it and recieve it by faith your healing. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Without faith it is impossible to please him. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not yet seen. Faith will and can remove a problem (mountian) if only you would believe, trust and rely upon the Lord. Romans 10:17 Hebrews 11:6 Hebrews 11:1 Mark 11:23
