Most of the tracts I've seen try to use fear of eternal suffering to draw souls to Jesus. That's unfortunate; the bible says 'love covers a multitude of sins' (1 Peter 4:8, James 5:20). It doesn't say that about fear.
Preaching endless suffering in a fiery dungeon is preaching fear as a means to get souls to repent. The bible doesn't teach that! And it doesn't get it done..
The scriptures teach that God loves the world (John 3:16). There's something about eternal suffering consciously that I can't equate to love, in any way shape or form.
I have always been interested in evangelism. I would hand out tracts occasionally. However, now after the COVID pandemic, our church transmits the Sunday service on YouTube live.
So now my track is a small piece of paper that shows the name and address of my church along with the website and that services are 10 am live on YouTube. I have found the Holy Spirit leads as to whom to approach.
