Song of Solomon 3:11 makes a reference to a bridegroom on the day of his marriage wearing a special head-dress, which Isaiah is comparing in the verse cited in the question to the mitre or turban worn by a priest, as mentioned in verses such as Exodus 28:4, Exodus 39:28, and Ezekiel 44:18. Isaiah used this comparison to correlate with other references that he made (as in Isaiah 62:4) to Israel being figuratively "wed" to God as His bride (similar to references in the New Testament (such as Ephesians 5:25-27, or Revelation 21:2 and Revelation 21:9) to the church being the bride of Christ).
