Why this potpourri of advice? (Hebrews 13:1–10)

The author seems to be touching on so many different topics. Was there a reason for this?

Hebrews 13:1 - 19

ESV - 1 Let brotherly love continue. 2 Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

I would say that the varied content of Hebrews 13 arises from it being the last chapter in the epistle. As letter writers often do (even today), after having covered his main intended points in the body of the epistle, the author concluded by more briefly touching on other subjects that he had not previously discussed, but that he did not want to leave completely unaddressed. (Even if Paul did not write Hebrews, the content of the chapter reminds me of his concluding words to Timothy in 2 Timothy 4 -- that is, touching on a variety of topics.)
