How could Jesus say we will never die when the Bible says all will eventually die, such as in Hebrews 9:27?

St. Paul said that “through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because all sinned” (Rom. 5:12). But Jesus seems to contradict this when He affirmed, “whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die” (John 11:26).

John 11:26

ESV - 26 And everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?

Hebrews 9:28, "So Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation."

As men die once, Christ died once. Not like the repeated sacrifices in the Levitical system. Unlike men Christ did not die and face judgment. (He is and was sinless!) He died once to appear a second time for salvation.

Hebrews 1:14, "Are they (angels) not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?" They are sent to believers who inherit life in the kingdom for their service to Jesus.

Colossians 3:23,24 - "And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for You serve the Lord Christ."

John 4:24, "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."

1 Corinthians 15:50, "Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit corruption." John 3:1-12

1 Corinthians 15:35-49. There are many kinds of flesh. This human body, will be changed into a glorious body, that will never die. After this earthly, natural life this body will be shed. Then the believer's spirit, which has been reborn (the spiritual rebirth) will live forever with God! AMEN! Praise Jesus!

In the first place, even if taken literally, Christ wasn't negating that Christians die. In fact, He affirmed it in an earlier verse, "Although one dies, he will live." I.e., Jesus affirmed that due to the fact that He was "the resurrection and the life" (John 11:25), He will raise those who believe in Him for eternal life (John 5:28-29).

Also, Jesus could have been speaking about spiritual life and the spiritual death (this is my view here--see Dr. Charles Ryrie's Ryrie Study Bible). In this sense, those who believe in Him will have spiritual life (John 3:16, 36), although they will experience the physical death. Because those who are born only once will die twice, once physically and one more time in the "second death" (Revelation 20:14) or the final separation from God. But those who are born two times (John 3:3, 7) will only die once (physically), but they will live with God forever.
