I think, that although this parable is historic and addresses Zedekiah, Babylon, and Nebuchadnezzar, It is still revelant today. The Bible is like that: timeless. So, what can we learn from this parable of the eagles? God is always near and always faithful! We, in our human form, are not always faithful. We tend to act on our emotions! We are always getting into trouble, looking for the quick, easy way... We forget, or neglect, to seek God and ask for His help! We depend on our own "logic." Know this! Sooner, or later vs.22-24 in Ezekiel 17, we will stand, kneel before God and have a life review. Pray that we be found in good standing! Why be foolish when we have this lesson in our Bible?
