Here's how I see it:
When you get a sex change, you're saying,
"God, You made a mistake."
Really ~ God NEVER makes mistakes. You are who you were born. If you were born a girl, you will be female. If you born a boy, you are male. If you are having problems accepting who you are, then you need to seek help re-adjusting your thinking.
I have a son, who since childhood I knew would grow up to be gay. He preferred playing with dolls rather than toy trucks. All his friends are girls. He is now an adolescent, an achiever in school, very talented. He's a good boy, goes to church every Sunday too. Does that make him of the devil? I know what the Bible says about homosexuals, and I don't think my son was influenced to become what he is. Even as a child I saw the signs. I told him it was wrong and he would go to hell because of it. Now I feel guilty because of that. God loves us all. How can He despise homosexuals if they live by His words but are emotionally and mentally oriented on the feminine side? Like a tree that's bent and grows, that tree will remain bent until it grows old. The same holds true for man.
Playing with dolls will enable him to be a practiced father when he has a child. He will know how to care for the child, how to love the child, how to change diapers, and everything that entails having a child.
Just because his friends are all girls doesn't make him gay. It could be he just hasn't met the right male friend for him yet.
No, these don't make him of the devil. He needs Jesus to fill in the remaining gap in his life. When he has Jesus, He will take the undesirable parts away.
He will not go to hell for being a homosexual. Not accepting Christ as his personal savior is what will send him there.
God doesn't despise homosexuals. He LOVES them. That's why He sent Jesus to die for us. It's the acts of the homosexuals that He despises. THAT'S why your son needs Jesus.
Homosexuals don't live by ALL His words. They need to pay special attention to Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13.
Male and female are in our DNA inside every single cell in our bodies.
Changing physical appearances will not change that.
The World says " these are acceptable behaviours for males" and "these are acceptable behaviours for females". Anyone exhibiting behaviour outside the acceptable range, or exhibiting behaviour deemed to belong to the other sex, can find themselves ostracised and labelled.
They can be expected (even pressured) to learn a range of other behaviours "consistent" with their label. No wonder they are unhappy and struggle with their identity. The World is sinful and is in error. Instead, look to God's Word!
Look at the amazing range of characters in the Bible! God called each of them and accomplished amazing things through them.
The challenge for followers of Jesus is to accept people for who they are.
There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Gal 3:28
Jesus never instructed men (or women) to behave in a "male" fashion, or women (or men) to behave in a "female" fashion. He only called on them to remove sin from their lives.
“Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin”
John 8:11 NIV
Later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him, “See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.”
John 5:14 NIV
When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”
Mark 2:5 NIV
I believe in God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. God created the Earth and He created man and woman.
It is untrue that everyone born is born perfect. There are medical problems that some people are born with. There are chromosomal differences people are born with. It is unfair to say that everyone is created perfectly and in unison with each other.
Therefore, no one here can say that a person who is born a boy, really has the mind and ways of a girl, and vice versa. This happens. It is happening. Do you think people go through all of that for the fun of it? It is a lot to go through.
Prayers and God's love. God loves all of us. God's love is perfect.
God has made each of us very unique. God doesn't make any mistakes. In the beginning of time He created the male and the female of our species. It is His design and it is His intention that the female was created to be a partner for the male. The man and the woman are to compliment one another.
I can't understand why someone wants and desires to change the work that God has done. I can't understand why someone would want to have a sex change, but I know there are those that want this.
I am strongly opposed to this as well as anyone that wants to alter one's dna. What God has done is perfect, we need to leave His work alone.
thanks

Debra Lawson, your comment should be an answer. That's the only way it can be voted up, like it deserves. There needs to be more of what you wrote on this site. I think you're right.
Why would anyone put themselves through a sex change if they weren't being tormented, for whatever reason? It ain't that I understand it, but I don't have to. Too many christians focus on troubled people and not on the Lord.
Jesus died for people who get sex change operations!! I think some of us, deep down inside where it really counts, doubt the truth of that. I think some of us think that Jesus died so that people who WANT TO GET sex change operations, can repent and NOT GET the operation, so they can be saved. I don't believe those "saints" believe Jesus saves people who go through with such a thing. In other words, heaven is too good a place for a transgender.
They're right; it is! It's also too good a place for a liar, or a gossiper, or a murderer like king David. That's why flesh and blood don't enter the kingdom of God. God saves souls, not humans.
That's also why the elect were chosen before the foundation of the world (that we would be blameless and holy) Eph 1:4 (before [we] had done anything, good or bad). Rom 9:11
David was chosen in advance of becoming a murderer/adulterer.
Did God choose any transgenders and homosexuals before the foundation of the world? (that they may be holy and blameless)?
God has compassion and mercy on whomever He wills (Rom 9:15).
