Where in the Bible is it said that ignoring a sin doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist?

Just like the scribes and Pharisees in the days of Christ did not understand sin, it is even today men have not understood sin. As long as we are in the flesh we are sinners by our very nature. The scribes and Pharisees thought that everything was sin. But we read in the gospels that the Father would send his Holy Spirit to teach us concerning sin that keeps you from his salvation. He defines sin as anyone who has not believed in his son. This is the sin that separates us from the Father.

As for a Christian who sins after receiving Christ, they are chastised for their sins committed in the flesh. This is why the apostle wrote that if you are without chastisement you are a bastard and you’re not his child. The apostles also wrote that if a man says he has not sin, he is a liar and he makes God a liar, for we all sin because of the flesh. If there is anyone today that say they do not sin, they have not understood.

We commit sins everyday of our lives. It is written that we should love the Lord with all our heart. What man has done this other than Christ? You say you have not sinned after coming to Christ, but yet you take time to watch tv or anything satisfying to the flesh; you have not loved the Lord with all your heart.

The early Christians walked in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit. What that means is when a person is saved the Father puts his Holy Spirit within us causing us to walk in his ways. The fruits of the Holy Spirit are first God’s love and trust.

The fear they walked in is described as hating evil. So they walked hating evil and walked in the fruits of the Holy Spirit.
