Does God destroy those destroying nature, trees, for example?

A friend suggested that God will destroy those harming nature, such as tree felling to construct golf courses.

Revelation 11:16

ESV - 16 And the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God.

Your question was: Does God destroy those destroying nature, trees, for example?

Let’s see what has already been done and see if God condemned them.

Solomon obtained the trees and lumber to build the Temple primarily from the cedars of Lebanon, which were transported by rafts to Joppa and then carried to Jerusalem.

1 Kings 5:6: Now therefore command thou that they hew me cedar trees out of Lebanon; and my servants shall be with thy servants: and unto thee will I give hire for thy servants according to all that thou shalt appoint: for thou knowest that there is not among us any that can skill to hew timber like unto the Sidonians.

Some instruments in Israel's Temple, like the Menorah, were made of pure gold. However, if gold was not available, other metals could be used for some items.

Did God punish them for using the trees and minerals from the earth? Not at all. God judges a person according to the motivation of their heart.

As to destroying the land for gain, let’s let God be their judge. Got will judge us all by what is in our hearts.
