What does "hidden with Christ in God" mean in Colossians 3:3?

Colossians 3:3 "For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God."

I ask this now because I see a connection between v. 2 and v. 3: "for you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God."

Colossians 3:2 "Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth."

The Apostle Paul is instructing the Colossian church to seek the things that are above because they have been raised from the dead, and there new life is in Christ. Christ is sitting at the right hand of God.

So as believers, we are to set our affections or our minds on Christ Jesus, and not on the things that pertain to the flesh. We are to be spiritually minded as opposed to being carnally minded.
