Are they married? Just curious, is the controlling partner male or female?

Jack, let's do this: let's say these are the parents of a son (man) who has a controlling wife, that's making these parents want to scream, and they don't think screaming is a "godly" way to handle the situation. (I don't think it should matter whether the people involved are married or not.)
These people have a son or a daughter who is in a relationship with a controlling person (at least that's how the parents see it), and they want the church's advice on how to 'disagree with the situation in a "godly" way.'
There's no "godly" way to put yourself in the middle of the problems of another couple. If people go off the rails in your presence, the right thing to do is to get them to calm their emotions. But if you just disagree with the way someone is allowing someone else to control them, all you can really do is give that person your advice about not letting another person control them. No parent can live their children's lives for them! To insert yourself into their difficult situations is to frustrate yourself needlessly. If a son or daughter doesn't want to be in a toxic relationship, it's up to them to make the decision to make a change.
My advice: if there's no serious abuse happening, STAY OUT OF IT!!
Which can be very difficult to do when there's a sincere dislike for the offensive person. There's no "godly" way to dislike an offensive person, be it man or woman!! You just want to give them WHAT FOR!!
The godly thing to do is STAY OUT OF IT!! If possible.
