I can only relate my own salvation. I was lead to accept Jesus as my only savior when I was only about 5 years old by my mother. My mother told me we are all born sinners, but Jesus loved us so much, that He went to the cross and died in our place so that we could go to heaven when we die. She explained that Jesus was the Son of the one true God, and that only he could saved us. Then she gave me John 3:16 I believed it and was saved forever. I am now 76 years old, and Jesus has kept His promise and has kept me saved and no one is able to pluck me out of His hand. John 10:28

My name is written in the Lambs Book of life, and can never be removed. Jesus promised that He would never leave me or forsake me. I just believe what He said. John 1:12 But as many as received Him, (His free gift of salvation) to them gave He power, to become the children of God, event to them who believe on His name.

I learned that I was saved by grace, through faith, and that not of yourself, it is the GIFT of God, not of works, what we do or do not do, so that no one can boast.

So I became a child of God when I was a child. I was fortunate to have parents who loved me enough to show me the way of salvation by faith alone when I was very young. I came as a child believing my Savior died for me and my name was written in His hand.

I know I am going to heaven when I die because He took the penalty of my sins that I deserved to go to hell for, so that I do not have to go to hell to pay for them because Jesus paid for them all.

That is how I taught my own children to be saved, and they all know the truth and have accepted Jesus as their savior, and I know they are going to heaven when they die. I already lost one to a motorcycle accident, but I know he is waiting on the other shore for me when I get there.

It is AMAZING GRACE, Jesus paid it all and I paid 0. It is the free gift of God by faith alone without works. It is all grace, what Jesus did for us, not what we do or do not do, our works. When he said it is finished I was saved forever and ever and ever and can never be cast out. John 6:37 All that the Father gives to me, will come to me, and ALL that come to me, I will in no wise cast out. I have eternal life.
