My opinion is that the book of life and the Lamb's book of life are one and the same. I think that has been well-substantiated. The Bible says your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life the moment you trust Jesus--the Lamb who died for your sins--as your Savior. You can’t earn it. It’s a free gift.

Three simple steps from Scripture follow to make sure that your name is in it:

1. Admit you are a sinner who needs forgiveness (Romans 3:23).

2. Believe Jesus died for you and rose again (John 3:16).

3. Receive Him as your Lord and Savior (John 1:12).

The moment you do, your name is written in His book--forever.

“He who overcomes will not be blotted out from the book of life.” (Revelation 3:5)

Your invitation is this --
If you want to know for certain your name is in the Lamb’s Book of Life, you can pray right now. God hears your heart, not your perfect words.

Pray this sincerely:

“Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. Thank You for dying in my place and rising again. I turn from my sins and trust You as my Savior. Please forgive me, write my name in the Lamb’s Book of Life, and give me eternal life. Amen.”

If you prayed that and truly meant it, the Bible promises you are saved (Romans 10:9). Your name is written in heaven. Will you put your trust in Jesus today?
