Destiny or fate is God's purpose for the one whom He created in His image to fulfill in life or live for, as He said to Jeremiah in Jer 1 vs 5.
However, early understanding of this purpose in life goes a long way to bring it to pass as God had purpose.
Even if you understand well the purpose you are living for, this does not mean you will not struggle or strive to bring to pass this purpose because of the the devil in the world. The devil is against the will of God's fulfillment in life. That opens the need to know God's will for your life, know the devil and his purpose to thwart God's purpose, and the reason to defend the purpose of God for your life through constant fellowship with God...
