Yes the bible does tell us to forgive and forget. You should look at the parable of the unforgiving servant in Matthew 18:21-35. This passage tell you why you have to forgive and it tells the consequences if you don't.

Just read your indicated passage and YES - it DOES tell is to forgive and the consequences for not doing so BUT I see NOTHING in reference to the FORGETTING part. Can the comment poster please explain.
