This question is about "correcting" another Christian.

You can change a word here and there, and make the question different from its intent.
Why is this being asked? We can't be sure, but it could be that one church member knows another member's private business. Or it could be that one person has been offended by another.

Mr Houdmann seems to think it's the latter; he cites Matt 18:15-17. That scripture concerns a Christian who has been offended by a fellow Christian. It says, "If your brother sins against you..." That's very different from what is asked here.

'Correct another Christian.' To that I ask, 'Any Christian?' Should a Christian just 'willy-nilly' without a working relationship with another fellow brother-in-Christ, offer critical correction?

I will quickly disagree with any believer who offers what I believe to be a false reasoning of the scriptures. It's rampant, and I think it should be challenged. But I don't meddle into personal affairs.

I know at least one believer who cheats on his wife; he knows that I know; he knows my thoughts about it, that I think it's wrong and that he should stop. I know that HE KNOWS it ain't right! I pass on being a scapegoat.

WHY should I cause a riff between us? I think he'd take offense and remind me, 'YOU AIN'T PERFECT YOURSELF!' Again, I pass.

That's usually the result of one believer interfering in the personal affairs of another Christian.

I've known pastors who were attacked for that kind of thing! Not me..
