These comments reveal a good reason why I hear "the world" say it doesn't see any difference in the people "who call themselves Christian" and everybody else; why many say they don't want to be a part of a church. These divisive comments are appalling. (I ain't surprised by the spirit of these postings, however.)

We here in the United States have never been governed according to theocratic policies. Anyone who actually wishes to be in a theocracy need to read up on how life is lived in places where there are people who claim power over the lives of the citizens of the country, and use their understanding of A THEOLOGY to exercise that power.

Trust me! You don't really want to live in a nation where people rule in the name of a deity, or according to the rulers' understanding and interpretation of religious dogma. It didn't work for Israel and it won't work for anyone else. People ain't Jehovah!

When Jesus returns He will rule. The government will be upon His shoulders. Until then, I hope we stick to our devotion to the charter with which we settled this land. I know there's trouble in America. But this nation isn't in upheaval; we are a settlement! You who think there's a way to live in total peace don't know or believe the Bible, evidently. Jesus told His disciples before He left, "In this world you will have trouble, but cheer up, I have overcome the world." John 16:33

If we are IN CHRIST, we shouldn't get on a public forum and whine about life in the church!
