What does the Bible say about shunning?

NIV: And he said to man, The fear of the Lord that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding."
Job 28:28

AMP: THERE WAS a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who [reverently] feared God and abstained from {and} shunned evil [because it was wrong].
Job 1:1
