Hi its simplistic Joyce again.

Matthrew wrote about Jesus based on a King's rule..And Luke wrote about Jesus as the Son of Man. Case and point...When a King is being acknowledge the writers referenced his ancestors i.e. his lineage as far back as they can go to show his blood line And when a person dies we tend to referenced his parents, his siblings as far back as far back as a person can go to referenced their blood line

Thus

Matthrew saw Jesus as the Son of a King (GOD)
Mark saw Jesus as a Servant
Luke (the physician) saw Jesus as the Son of Man
John saw Jesus as the Son of God

Phillip and Michael, each of you have studied diligently, have skillfully laid out your premise and have come to intelligent conclusions.

I am thankful that there is a forum like this available where learned men and women can share their imparted knowledge.

Although I am well-versed in the Bible, I certainly do not know but a thimbleful of the interpretation and application that The Lord has given us. I am always searching for answers and this is the best site I have found.

Thank you eBible for providing such a classy website.
