This answer was excellent Michael! I somehow have never even stopped to ponder what this verse meant. I always just read over it as if it were just some quaint, flowery language forgetting that every Word of God is powerful. (God DID create the universe with His Words, after all!). Your answer points out a flaw I have very well, one which I share with other sinful humans--thinking I am "like God" knowing how to run my life! Until and unless I remove myself from the throne where God rightfully belongs, my heart will be far from Him! May God help me accept with humility His rule in my life DAILY.
