The Bible, though not "commanding" to use the name of the Father, it so implies it everywhere. Replacing His name for a title is a human decision and error. The manuscripts didn't do that. For every modern LORD there was a Jahweh (approx translation). The Father commands Moses to use a proper name when referring Him to the Pharaoh . Jesus' prayer commands to honor the Father's name ( how to do it if one doesn't know it or doesn't us it? Worst if all by using LORD and Lord to refer to the Father and the Son the translations created a fatherless religion. The Father became a secondary, opaque figure in the background. Current praying shows a confusion as to whom we are praying. Jesus clearly shows that prayers should addressed to the Father. Replacing His name for a title de-personalized the Father and confuses Him with Jesus who us called by the same title . This makes no sense. About using Jeshua, we do have His name in English and there is no hint that we should use that name, otherwise we would start using so many other names in Aramaic, Greek or Hebrew... to what purpose?

Jesus said " ask anything in My name" .... His name is Yeshua .... So if we ask in the name of Jesus, where does that leave us? Names were very important in Biblical times ... They are specific and meaningful ... Jesus has many names, like Prince of Peace, Redeemer, Messiah, King of Kings, and many, many more ... But in the Scriptures (N.T.) at His birth, He was spoken of as Emmanuel, God with us.
