Another main reason I would like to add is, ISRAEL PREVENTED GOD'S RULE OVER THEM. God wanted to rule Israel and it was not His will for Israel to be ruled by a man (1 Samuel 8:6). Nevertheless God warned them of the hardships they would suffer because of a man being the king (1 Samuel 8:11-18), Israelites were very stern about having a man as their king. They wanted one man show as had the other gentile nations. Because of the rule of one man, Israel bore more yoke, as was warned by God in 1 Samuel 8:11-18.(1 Kings 12:4). Due to the rule of a man, Israel was split (1 Kings 12:16).

A minor deviation from the topic, but I'm burdened to indicate it. Similar to how Israel was ruled by man, the Church is being ruled by man nowadays. The Church is filled with Hierarchical structure, which is found nowhere in the Bible. Absolutely deviate from Mark 9:35 & Mark 10:42-44 and is flooded with heresies. Scores of evangelists make use of the money of believers just to show off their false experience of being to heaven, paradise and seeing ancestors like Abraham in their TV shows, false miracles, prosperity doctrines in their conventions etc. Instead of equipping the Church to have Christ rule over them, these people are ruling the Church themselves.

This is how the universal Church found by the apostles was split. Man started ruling the Church which gave rise to the Roman Catholicism, eventually giving rise to further divisions in the Church. Now there are over 2000 denominations all over the world. Each denomination deviates from the scripture in some way, because of the false interpretation of the truth by men. This clearly indicates man's rule in the Church. Does not the split of the Church resemble the split of Israel?

Oh Israel, when shall you be alarmed?
