Does Genesis 9:5 indicate that any creature who kills a human will be judged by God?

In my authorized King James Version the passage reads "And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man."

In my Living Bible the same verse reads, "And murder is forbidden. Man-killing animals must die, and any man who Murders shall be killed; for to
Kill a man is to kill one made like God." Genesis 9:5,6

Notice the first passage says every beast!

Genesis 9:5

ESV - 5 And for your lifeblood I will require a reckoning: from every beast I will require it and from man. From his fellow man I will require a reckoning for the life of man.
