My short answer to this question is this: Both Jesus' death(His physical death) --AND-- His resurrection are of EQUAL IMPORTANCE! The single purpose of both events are solely and simply of co-equal importance! For we, His children, could have no atonement or 'washing away' of our sins if first, He had not been born as a baby, to grow up and be our Holy example, and to suffer and die on that wicked, cruel Cross for your sins and mine! Only God in the flesh could be our propitiation, our Holy substitute, our Redeemer, and our 'blameless' sacrifice! (1 John 2:2 and 1 John 4:10)

Christ's death --AND-- His resurrection are of EQUAL IMPORTANCE! Just as Brother Michael Houdmann has stated this truth, "It is impossible to separate the death of Christ from His resurrection ON the third day!" For without both being equal, there would be no salvation unto The Father! We would have and all would 'die in our trespasses and suffer loss' for without His eternal sacrifice by first coming to Earth to dwell among us and His sacrificial death on that cruel Cross, followed by His resurrection, we would each die with no hope for eternal life in our spirit! To live IN Christ is to 'die to self and our earthly desires but to live FOR Christ is gain'! "For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that should be God's will, than for doing evil." (1 Peter 3:17) (Philippians 1:21)

Praise The Lord, Jesus Christ for IN HIM, you and I have a Savior! Amen!
