After Jesus defeats Satan and binds him for a 1,000 years, all of the dead saints, who died during the Tribulation for Christ's name and those who survive the Tribulation without worshipping the beast, will reign with Christ for those 1,000 years.

Rev 20:4 - this is the first resurrection and is reserved for believers only.

Yes, people will marry and have children, just like before the 1,000 year reign,. However, when Satan is released, he manages to find those who reject God even while Jesus is reigning on earth. Rev 20:7

When Satan's last rebellion is put down by Christ, Satan is finally thrown into the lake of fire and that's the end of evil on earth forever.

Some speculate that the point of this 1,000-year reign is to prove that even when the environment is perfect with a holy and righteous ruler (Christ), men, in their natural sinfulness, will rebel--i.e., our sin is within us, not a product of our upbringing, environment or anything other than our own choice. God proves without question that men choose their destiny.

After this last rebellion is quelled, then God resurrects the dead and they are judged according to whether or not they appear in the Book of Life--in the Book, on to eternal life with God; not in the Book, on to eternity in the lake of fire. By their own decision, then as now, man chooses to live separately from God.

First a let's review the Bible sequence of events surrounding the 1000-year period. This period will begin with Christ's return and the resurrection of the saints (Rev 1:7, 20:4-6). Both, the resurrected and those who are alive will "be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air" (1 Thes 4:16-17).

During this time Satan will be on earth, bound in the bottomless pit (Rev 20:13). This means that during the 1000-year the earth will be empty and void, no one will be alive while the saved will be with God in heaven (Jer 4:23, 25, 28).

The Bible says that at Christ's return the saved will be give immortality and bodies like Jesus. (1 Cor 15:51-55; Phi 3:21). Knowing that the winched dead will remain in the grave until the end of 1000 years (Rev 20:5) and that the living wicked will be slain by the Lord's glory at His return (Isaiah 11:4), it make sense to think that during this period no one other than Satan will remain on earth.

Also knowing that there will be no more death (Rev 21:4) and in heaven will be like angels, it is unlikely that children will be born (Mat 22:30).

Your question, What will happen to people during Jesus' 1000 year reign?
To comprehend the events that unfold when Christ returns with his Saints to establish a 1000-year reign, it is crucial to understand the preceding circumstances that lead to his return.
It is written just before Christ’s return with his saints that nations will gather around Israel to destroy them.
Zachariah 14:1 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle;

Christ will intervene and destroy them, casting the beast and false prophet into the Lake of Fire.

Here is the verse that show Christ intervening to protect Israel the nation.

Zachariah 14:3 “Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives”
“in the days of Uzziah king of Judah:
and the LORD my God shall come,
and all the saints with thee.”

Here we see Jesus returning with his saints.

Now what happens to the nations that have gathered against Jerusalem?

Verse 22 “And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people
that have fought against Jerusalem;
Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet,
and their eyes shall consume away in their holes,

What will happen to the people of the nations that Christ destroys?

Verse 16 “And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem
shall even go up from year
to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts,
and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

If they refuse to do these things the following will happen.

And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts,
even upon them shall be no rain.
And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain;
there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen
that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

This is what will happen to the people during Christ reign for a thousand years.

Very good question, Ivan! Yes, people will likely die, and yes, children will be born.

The mortal survivors group consists of people who survive the Great Tribulation and enter the Millennium in their natural, physical bodies. They are mortal, and they will be the ones who marry and have children.

There will be greatly extended lifespans: The prophet Isaiah provides a crucial detail: "No longer will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his days; for the youth will die at the age of one hundred and the one who does not reach the age of one hundred will be thought accursed" (Isaiah 65:20).

This indicates that while death will still be possible, it will be rare.

Living to be 100 will be considered dying young.

There will be no more infant deaths, and people will enjoy incredibly long, healthy lives.
