The promise is that blessed and holy are the ones who take part in the first resurrection and over such the second death has no power. Therefore who are the ones rebelling with Satan?
Revelation 20:6 - 8
NKJV - 6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years. 7 Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison

I believe that these creatures will be human beings that have become worshippers of Satan. They are unbelievers. In Genesis 3, we have the fall of Adam and Eve. Verse 14, the serpent is cursed to crawl and eat dust. Look again at verse 1. (The Hebrew word for cunning sounds like the Hebrew word for naked.) Eve was not surprised to hear the voice of the snake! Could there have been another person there? In Isaiah 14 we have a description of the fall of Lucifer. In Ezekiel 28:13 there is a description of...."You were in Eden, the Garden of God..." the beauty, perfection and violence of...Satan, Lucifer. 2 Corinthians 11:14, "And no wonder. For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light." Very cunning, if you ask me. Revelation 12:9, the Serpant, the Devil Satan, was cast out of heaven. Yes he was cast out long before. But evidently he still had access. Remember, he and God were talking about Job! This time he and the angels are warring in heaven. The beast and his armies are defeated in Revelation 19. Christ's reign with the saints of 1000 years takes place. Revelation 20. Verse 3, so that he, the devil, should deceive the nation's no more until the 1000 years are finished. What! He will be loosed again! Yes, see verse 7. It seems, that since time began our God given choice has gotten us into trouble. The whole Bible, warns against rejecting the Grace of God! YET, here they are again. The nation's, people of all races, deceived. BUT! Joel 2:32, "And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the Lord has said, Among the remnant whom the Lord calls." Zechariah 8:11, "But now I will not treat the remnant of this people as in former days..." God has always had and will always have a remnant. Think back to Noah....
