I believe this refers to homosexuality and these are the last days. If im wrong please send scriptures. Plus that scripture is not put in the current bibles in this day and time i think it was changed to accommodate this day and time
The original text never mentioned the sex of the 2 in bed. God/ His Word have never supported homosexuality in any way, shape or form. Many verses are being changed & soon our bibles will become unrecognizable. This is an extreme form of wicked sorcery that is being attributed to Cern, that God is allowing. God had warned us in Amos 8:1 of a coming famine of hearing the word of the Lord. Also in Daniel 7:25 it tells that he (the antichrist) will attempt to make changes in laws & in times and that it will be given to him for a time, times & half a time. But then the court will convene & his dominion will be taken away, annihilated & destroyed forever. Amen &
Amen!
It's the specificity of the two sinners, one being washed and the other apparently being still unclean, that would cause a need for more discussion. As the scripture stands, the two in the same house (bed) are simply two common, ordinary, run-of-the-mill Atlantans, one is a Christian and the other worships at a Buddhist temple, maybe. The Christian man is redeemed and the other man will have to wait for the god of nirvana (whatever that is) to come for him. They live together but they don't share the same beliefs about theological matters.
The Bible version of the situation is worth discussing; the bar room version isn't. To make this about more than the differences that exist among family members concerning their beliefs in spiritual matters is to corrupt the investigation. If two men are homosexuals, they have a sameness that needs to be explained and examined if one is said to be different in a way that has caused him to be redeemed.
Jesus was teaching a basic truth: (here it is) Salvation is a personal matter between Jesus and an individual.
He wants us to know that it isn't communicable. He wanted Israel to know that being a descendant of Abraham wouldn't be applicable for the inheritance of everlasting life. You're all alone in the batter's box. (except, Jesus is with you).
The moral to Israel, to whom he was preaching: stop depending on Abraham and Moses; I'm the Way!!
