Palm reading is divination or fortunetelling and as such an occultist practice. Fortunetelling is addressed at least 15-16 times in the Old Testament as evil, an abomination and etc. It is prohibited. Saul was punished for consulting with fortune tellers. In the New Testament (Acts 16:16) Paul casts out an evil spirit (demon) that gave a slave girl the power of fortunetelling, reconfirming yet again it's evil nature.
