As I understand it, the Messianic Jewish Bible is a translation of both the Old and New Testaments that is intended to emphasize and present Jesus as the fulfillment of messianic prophecies contained in the Old Testament (as well as other Jewish writings that are not part of the canon of Christian Scripture), and is written primarily for those Jews who (while continuing to practice Judaism) place their faith in Christ for the forgiveness of sins by God, and for the attainment of salvation and eternal life. To my knowledge and in my view, it does not contain material or teachings that are incompatible with Christianity, and it would in fact benefit Christians by giving them a greater understanding of the faith and traditions of God's chosen people, and of the environment in which Jesus was born and raised.
