Is the questioner referring to being called on to give an extemporaneous public prayer in front of a church group on-the-spot, without prior notification or preparation, and also with no prior knowledge of the subject of the prayer?
Being called on to give a closing prayer and as an usher, collecting the offering. I feel like a hypocrite when I do this.
Why do you feel like you're pretending to be thankful to the Father? That's what hypocrites do; pretend. When you pray over the offering are you not thankful that the Lord has provided for the ministry? I don't understand.
