Genesis 3:9,10: "So the Lord God called out to man and said to him, 'Where are you?' "And he answered and said, 'I heard you walking in the garden and I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid.'" So, the whole dynamic of the relationship was changed. John 14:1-3: "Don't let your heart be troubled, believe in God; believe also in Me. If I go away and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you to Myself." Jesus' love gave Him the strength to bear the cross. He died, not for anything He did. He died for us, and for His Father and a plan that was created before time began. In John 20:19, notice that the disciples were in a locked room. They were afraid! Obviously fear had fallen into their hearts because Jesus was "dead!" But, apparently Jesus had new and glorious power! Jesus was in the midst of them! He was walking, talking, sharing the wounds He carried on His body! Jesus was alive! They had seen Him die! Remember that the Jews always required a sign! Jesus is the peace that is beyond our complete understanding. Jesus told all on that day of His murder, "It is finished!" Jesus is Peace! He is the only Way. He is the Truth! He is victorious over death. Now, there is no reason to fear. Jesus will always be with all who believe in Him. We can have peace in our lives, because He is in the midst. He will never leave. He has prepared a place for us! His disciples went on to live in victory. All believers can do the same. AMEN!
