How do you practically 'find rest' in God alone in the middle of a busy or stressful season?

Any personal insights or other verses that help with that?

Psalm 62:1-2, 5 NIV

My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him.
2
He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.

5
Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him.

Psalms 62:1 - 12

ESV - 1 For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation. 2 He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken.

Dear Anonymous, while physical rest is definitely important, the Psalmist is talking about finding rest in God.

King David was a man of war, and a true worshipper of Jehovah. I believe as a result of his relationship, his soul found comfort and rest in the fact that Jehovah was present with him.

He went through numerous challenges in his life; however he remained faithful to the LORD. He knew that the LORD would always deliver him from every situation that he found himself in.

As it pertains to finding practical ways to rest in the LORD, I believe that it is a matter of decision.

We must take the time to rest, if not we will definitely suffer the consequences of not doing so.

Our souls and our bodies need rest, and times of refreshing to carry out the will of God and our daily duties for everyday life.

We all must learn how to rest, whether it be in the physical or spiritual sense.
