How can I repent of having sex before marriage if I am now married?
I fell into sin and the ways of the world and had sex before marriage. My husband and I are now married but I am feeling so bad and guilty about my past. I am trying to give my life back to God but feel like I cannot be forgiven for this. I have prayed and asked for forgiveness. Can He forgive me?

Dear Anonymous, to repent means to change the mind. You already repented the moment you and your husband decided to get married. If you have received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you have been forgiven of all of your sins, past, present and future. Romans 8:1 says, "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus." Every born again believer in Jesus Christ, has a new identity! 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new." Please do not allow guilt to control your life when Jesus has already freed you from condemnation!
