We have a free will as to whether we accept Jesus as our savior. God made the way of salvation before the foundation of the world, But we have to accept him as our savior to be saved.

For God so loved the world, (everybody) that He gave His only begotten Son, (Jesus) that WHOSOEVER (anybody) that believeth on Him, will not perish, but have everlasting life.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness, but is long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (Believe on Jesus as the only way of salvation)

John 6:40 And this is the will of Him who sent me, that all the seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life, and I will raise him up on the last day.

John 6:37 All that the Father hath given me, will come to me, and all that come to me, I will in no wise cast out.

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

2 Corinthians 5:21 For He hath made Him, who knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

We are given eternal life, the minute we trust Jesus as our savior. John 10:28 "And I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand."

1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you, that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

All believers are chosen by God because He made the way of salvation possible. We were not chosen to believe, but when we believe we are chosen.

Christ died for the sins of the whole world, so that anyone who comes to Him by faith alone, will be saved. Romans 4:5 But to the one that worketh not, but believe on Him who justifieth the ungodly, (all of us) his faith is counted for righteousness.

Romans 11:6 It is all grace, what Jesus did for us, not works, what we do or do not do, it can not be both. It is all grace because there is nothing we can do to save ourselves, and we can only accept Jesus as a free gift. Jesus paid it all and we pad 0.

The gospel. 1 Corinthians, 15:1-4 That Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures, that He was buried and rose again on the third day, according to the scriptures. When we believe it we are given eternal life.

John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them gave He power, to become the children of God, even to them that believe on His name.

Here are three other verses about destiny (Rom 28-30)

28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, them who are the called according to his purpose,

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called, and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified."

She was told ‘Your older son will serve your younger son.’ In the words of scripture, ‘I have loved Jacob but Esau I have hated.” (See Mal 1:2-3).

A few have-the ones God has chosen-but the hearts of the rest were hardened. As the scriptures say. God has put them in a deep sleep. To this day he has shut their eyes so they do not see, and closed their eyes so they do not hear.” (See Isa 29:10 & Deuteronomy 29:4).

Ephesians 1:4-5&11 “Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. For he decided in advance to adopt us into his family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything work out according to his plan."

Psalm 135:6 “Whatever the Lord pleases, He does, in heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps”

Isaiah 46:9-10 “For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things which have not been done, saying, ‘My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure’ ”
