Well there are too many occurrences of this phenomenon to brush it off sighting no biblical reference. Deuteronomy 29:29 and that place in the New Testament which says eyes have not seen, ear has not heard nor has it entered in the hearts of men the things God has prepared...but has revealed them by His Spirit...I do understand your need for biblical accuracy in such things.

Deuteronomy 29:29: "The secret things belong unto the Lord our God:
but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children
forever, that we may do all the words of this law."

The book is absolutely true. God does have secrets. 1 Corinthians 7:2:
"But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory."

Job said that even if God were to slay him, he would trust Him.

I believe that this might be the point of not understanding everything. Do we believe His word? Do we have faith?

I don't think we can ever fully grasp the mind of God.
