I know called me by name in an audible voice twice waking me out of sleep. I got up and looked all around. No one was there. I was not born again then. I wondered it must be God. Later that evening I went to the club I hanged out at and a man walked in, came straight to me and said to me, "young lady" you should not be in a place like this. I said to myself, " ah I wonder if this about God because I'm young and I want to have a good time. December of that same year, a lady witness to me about salvation because I was not interested in church. I went home and prayed the sinners prayer and I started reading the Bible, a book I didnt understand and boring. But St. John and the Psalms were so beautiful. I began to speak to others what I was reading although at first I said I won't tell anybody because they will think I'm crazy. I didn't want to go to the club anymore. I was age 23 then and I'm 66 now. I made a lot of mistakes but Jesus Christ is best thing that ever happened to me. He is my rock and my salvation, amen!!!

People who it's never happened to may not believe it. I don't think I did and then it happened to me! I had been praying all morning. Only a short time after I stopped praying The Holy Spirit spoke in my head and it was clear as anyone has ever spoken to me before. It was only then I researched and found scripture that backed up what had happened to me. Romans 8:26-27

On the subject of hearing an audible voice I did indeed experience that one time in my life. I was told to move to another state and my husband who was not walking with the Lord would verify what I was being told. It happened exactly as the voice said it would. This is all recorded in my book One Life to Live with Heavenly Assist published by Covenant Books. I hear the voice of the Spirit through Scripture and often through a word others speak but on this one occasion there was an audible voice that made me freeze since I did not know where it was coming from..............
