There is another verse that says a similar thing, also ascribed to Paul. Frankly, the first time I noticed the little word, 'with' in Gen 3:6 indicating Adam was fully in the moment and therefore gravely complicit I was well on the road to seeing a new side of scripture that eventually ended my agreement with complimentarian thinking.

Why would Paul say in two separate occasions that Adam brought sin into the world then on one occasion seemingly blame Eve? ... 'with her!' Holy Spirit highlighted those two words and emblazoned them on my heart. Adam not only knew what was going on with each and every syllable of that serpent's tongue, but he destroyed his own urge and duty to defend his bride against the vileness of the snake, he obliterated his awareness that he should clog the air with truth to defeat the lies. And to add insult to destructive injury, he threw her under the bus before God.

Eve was simply decieved. Adam was already dead in his trespass before Eve ever accepted the forbidden.
