Isaiah 45

10. Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? Or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth? 11 Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.

As you can see, in verse 11, it seems God is giving man the power to command Him. This is a very unfortunately oversight by translators. The original manuscripts did not have punctuation in them, so periods and question marks were not part of the original. In verse 11, the verse ends with a period when in fact, it should have been question mark. If you read the context of the passage you will see God saying 'Hey I'm God, I did this and that and YOU have the audacity to command ME?' Read the rest of this passage below and you will see this plainly. No, we do not command the Master and Potter. We are His vessels, at His beck and call. He does as He pleases and will never be a means to anyone's ends.

12 I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded. 13 I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts.

Hope this helps.

I remember when I was studying the bible. I saw a scripture that I knew something was hidden there but could not see it. I was getting all excited and said without thinking "God! I know there is something there! And you said if I seek I shall find! So give me that Word! I want it." I dont think that was a command. It was me holding Him to what He said. And we can do that. His word says to test Him at His word. But to command Him we cannot. We dont have authority over God to do so. The only Authority we have is over the Earth and our own lives. We can command things too move in our lives with the Word of God in Jesus name.
