Miller proclaimed that Jesus would return in 1843. FALSE. He then recalculated it to 1944. FALSE. Ellen G. White then said that these false prophesies were caused by God "to test his people"( early writings. Pg 232). Instead of humbly admiting a failed prophesy she blamed God for this error? Question: What bible verse do Adventist used to justify October, 22. 1844 when Daniel 8:14 has absolutly nothing to do with it and why do they still hold to this false doctrine as "their pillar" when clearly it came out of a big dissapointment from Miller's erroneous exegesis on Daniel 8:14?
