What would be an example of a 'modern day' Pharisee?

Christians who judge by flesh & not by spirit, perhaps?

While the term "Pharisee" has become a pejorative (referring to a person exhibiting "hypocritical censorious self-righteousness") in modern Christian parlance, originally the term referred to a specific sect of pious and devout Jews within Second Temple Judaism. Moreover, it should be noted that Paul, himself, continued to self-identify as a Pharisee (Acts 23:6), even after coming to faith in Jesus Christ. Moreover, modern scholarship, such as that of Brad Young and Harvey Falk, has shown the theology of both Jesus and Paul mirrors that of the first century Pharisees. Today, theologically, orthodox Jews are the modern descendant of the Pharisees.
