Does this mean a woman cannot share the gospel with male unbelievers, or cannot share Bible verses with men?
1 Timothy 2:11 - 15
ESV - 11 Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. 12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet.

Jesus sent a woman to tell the disciples, AND Peter that He was resurrected. He used other women in the bible. There are many women preachers and teachers. Are they not being obedient to God's Word?
I'm trying to find an answer to a man who told me to read 1 Tim. 2:11-12 when I was sharing scripture with him. I didn't know how to answer him as he has a scripture that tells me to be quiet.
It is clear in the Book of Judges 4:4 that Deborah was a married woman and her husband is mentioned by name.
"And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time."
If you dig deep into Paul's teachings and know the context and history of each church he wrote to, Paul believed in women but he also saw first hand what some were doing in the community, before and after conversion. Paul did express for quiet in church, because of how the people were seated. Men in one section, women further back, and he wanted them to wait till they were at home. If you look through Romans 16, plus the other greetings he had great admiration for the opposite sex...but he also knew what was required of them.
