In reading the question, I am uncertain of the implications of the use of the word "ethically"? How is the question as it is worded intended to be different from the wording, "What does it mean that God is just, merciful, and loving?", with the word "ethically" omitted? Is the question as it is currently worded asking about the implications for the behavior or actions of Christians of the facts that God is just, merciful, and loving?
