YES! God has a sense of humor... Just look at the giraffe, or the hippo, or the duckbill platypus -- now THERE'S a conundrum! How do we classify that creature? I think God made a few creatures which cannot be classified into our neat and tidy system JUST for fun. Or how about Laban tricking Jacob and giving him Leah instead of Rachel? (Genesis 29) I can imagine God saying, "There ya go, Jake. Remember the old switcheroo you pulled on your father 7 years ago?" The irony is not to be missed!
Humour is an emotion. My opinion is that God is capable of emotions. God sometimes expresses anger, sadness, regret, persuasion, compromise(?) or negotiation(in an effort to save Sodom & Gomorrah) and also the emotion of pity. Based on these premises, God must be laughing at the folly of the magicians in Pharaoh's court as they brought more misery upon their people. In fact, God himself says to the haters of God, 'I will laugh them to scorn when their tribulation comes....' Since God fitted us the way we are, being humorous therefore comes from the great and supreme mind of our most holy God for our own benefit. A humorous mind is more beneficial to the world than a sadistic mind.
