As a Bible believing Christian live at peace with all your neighbors where and when possible, as a living sacrifice bringing glory and drawing unbelievers to Him.

In this life there are times when this peace is not possible and to retreat from the battle that is put before you, may or would endanger the innocent! Psalms 149:6-7

That said there is a time, for every purpose under heaven a time for peace and a time for war, consider well your actions prior to entering into this area both legal and moral. Ecclesiastes 3:8

Yes it's your moral duty to protect lives and stop all threats by any means at your disposal. You would put a vicious animal down, before it hurt someone, wouldn't you? Proverbs 24:12

Consider for a moment, that the reprobate engaging you may have done numerous evil deeds including murder at some point in their past!

And gotten away with it, because they had the edge over their victims, the will and sick taste or joy of doing evil deeds, now the God of justice, may say evil doer meet my humble servant Jack. Psalms 149:9; Ecclesiastes 3:3

Now you may well choose to be a victim to show your piety and that's fine friend if you do, just please don't expect or demand others to be as foolish! Proverbs 24:3

The sixth commandment in Hebrew reads: Thou shall do no murder

He that hath no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one
Luke 22:36

If a man hasn't discovered something that he will die for, he is not fit to live
