Why did men wait until the birth of Enosh to begin "calling on the name of the Lord"?

Genesis 4:26 says, "And. As for Seth, to him also a son was born; and he named him Enosh. Then men began to call on the name of the LORD." (NKJ version). Seth was the "replacement " for Abel, whose sacrificial flock (an acceptable sacrifice, as well as a sign of the lamb of God, Jesus Christ) was preferred before Cain's, whose sacrifice was from his own toil (Genesis 4:3) and who then murdered his brother (Genesis 4:8). He went out of the presence of the LORD and dwelt in the land of Nod on the east of Eden (Genesis 4:16). Further on in Cain's line Lamech told his two wives that he, too, had killed a man (Genesis 4:23 & 24), and it seemed as though no one who descended from Cain would call on God's name. Seth's son Enosh seemed to be the chosen one who, apparently, wanted to live a righteous life and call upon God for guidance to do so.
